Parks Highway Area Projects : South Mack Drive Connection : SCOPE


The City of Wasilla has contracted with the engineering firm Hattenburg, Dilley and Linnell, LLC, (HDL) to study a project to extend South Mack Drive 1.5 miles south to KGB Road.

The South Mack Drive Extension project will:

  • Find a route to extend the existing two-lane South Mack Drive to connect with KGB Road
  • Cross Lucille Creek
  • Prepare for the realignment of Fairview Loop with the new road extension to create a better intersection with KGB Road
