Welcome to the Parks Highway
MP 44-52 Road
Project Web Site
The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (ADOT&PF) is beginning environmental and preliminary engineering activities for the Parks Highway from milepost 44, Lucus Road, to milepost 52, Big Lake Road. Improvements may include a 4-lane highway with safety and capacity improvements, road surface and sub-base improvements, drainage, pedestrian and bicycle facilities.
We don't have any alternatives yet. We are determining the scope of issues to be addressed and identifying the significant issues related to an improvement in this area. What should the Parks Highway between Lucus Road and Big Lake Road look like in 20 years?
To ensure that all possible factors are considered in the design of the proposed project, ADOT&PF is requesting public comments and recommendations. If you are a nearby resident, business owner, frequent user of the road, or otherwise have an interest in the project, your input is important to the project. Please review the information provided on this web page and SEND US YOUR COMMENTS!
